junior interior designer
A Junior Designer is an integral part of the Design Team, as they are the primary support of the Lead Interior Designers and contribute to the primary service mission of the company. This person must be self-motivated, methodical and highly organized.
Qualifications/Skills:
Background in interior design, degree or work experience. 1-2 years experience is preferred
Understanding of space planning, proportions, color theory, layers and lighting
Strong computer skills required - proficient in SketchUp & AutoCADLt preferred. Additional software knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator is also helpful
Working from hand drawings or rough SketchUp or CAD files to develop fully comprehensive documents
Highly organized and able to manage and prioritize responsibilities both independently and as a team to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills. Ability to describe design concepts in writing and in personal presentations for clients and colleagues
Any additional software proficiencies and rendering skills are beneficial, but not necessary
Experience in accounts and or possession of strong math skills is preferred; budget awareness and cash flow management will be part of the job understanding and eventually a Lead Interior Designer role

lead interior designer
We’re looking for an experienced full time lead interior designer to join our team. This role is an essential part of the Design Team. A Lead Designer must be a motivated, dynamic individual who is an effective problem solver and project manager who is able to both build and maintain client relationships and work with an eclectic assortment of individuals (i.e. project development specialists, field managers and foremen, fellow designers).
Qualifications/Skills:
Proven experience as an Interior Designer 3-5+ years of experience
Strong knowledge of space planning, proportions, color theory, layers and lighting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
Ability to work within budget constraints and meet project deadlines
Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations related to interior design projects
Strong computer skills required - proficient in SketchUp & AutoCADLt preferred. Additional software knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator is also helpful
Highly organized and able to manage and prioritize responsibilities both independently and as a team to meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred, but not required.
