Nestled along one of Steamboat Springs’ premier golf courses, transforming into a picturesque Nordic ski trail in the winter, this stunning new construction home was thoughtfully designed as a mountain retreat for generations to gather. With panoramic mountain views and skiers gliding past the windows in the winter months, the setting itself became one of the home’s most important design elements. Every detail was curated to complement, rather than compete with, the surrounding landscape. The main level was designed to fully embrace the views, allowing the outdoors to act as living artwork throughout the home. A clean, contemporary aesthetic is balanced with traditional furnishings to create a warm yet refined atmosphere. Neutral tones, layered textures, and organic shapes bring softness and comfort to the modern architecture, while contemporary fireplace surrounds and sleek kitchen cabinetry add a sophisticated edge.
The open floor plan encourages connection and ease, creating a seamless flow between the kitchen, dining, and living spaces—perfect for hosting family gatherings and entertaining after a day on the slopes or golf course. Expansive windows flood the home with natural light and continuously draw your eye back to the breathtaking scenery outside.
Downstairs, the lower level was designed with both relaxation and recreation in mind. Two guest bedrooms and a custom bunk room provide inviting accommodations for kids and grandkids, while a spacious lounge area with a game table and bar creates the ideal hangout space for all ages.
