Eclectic Design: A Style That Mixes Different Design Elements, Periods, and Styles To Create A Unique and Personal Space

Step into a captivating 4,436 sq. foot masterpiece, originally built in 1997 and reborn through a visionary remodel that blends eclectic charm with mountain modern flair. The heart of the home, an expansive kitchen, was reimagined to include a sleek, extended layout that flows effortlessly, stealing space from a former crawlspace to unveil a sophisticated wine room, a hidden gem for intimate tastings. The new sleek kitchen design has stunning stone countertops, a bold rich plum colored bar with much personality, and an antique pantry door that shows the juxtaposition of old and new. A cozy cottage style fireplace warms the space, with the adjacent living room showing a contemporary style fireplace with wood slats, marrying rustic roots with a contemporary edge.

The home’s original log timbers, wooden ceilings, and rustic stairs set a funky authentic tone. We embraced this rustic look with upgrades including the metal stair railing that adds a touch of industrial cool. As you enter you’re greeted by a dramatic foyer where new vibrant stained glass windows cast colorful light across the new bold black and white graphic tiles. This sets the stage for the home’s eclectic spirit. The home shows off an overall nice combination of mid-century modern flair, cottage warmth, contemporary polish, and rugged rustic touches.

The reconfigured master suite is a serene retreat. The primary bathroom blends timeless elegance with modern comfort. It is designed for indulgence with luxurious marble countertops, floating vanities, and modern tile design in the showers . The teal retro inspired fireplace adds a nostalgic glow.

New modern lighting selections were upgraded throughout the house along with wallpaper touches in the bedrooms, family room, and powder room. Walls were remove to incorporate an open inviting area for guest suites. With it’s two-sided fireplace anchoring the open living spaces, this home invites you to gather, relax, and create memories, all while enjoying a bold inviting aesthetic.
